A Postmodern Approach to Professional Training of Practical Psychologists in HEIs

The article deals with a postmodern approach to professionalization of practical psychologists at the initial stage their professional training, which requires new approaches. Also, considers training as systemic and focused on scientific spheres activities these specialists realize educational needs. A model includes competencies, activities, personalization, values. Besides, outlines some essential tasks. They involve analyzing acquisition experience in collegial interaction between clients motivational, cognitive, emotional levels. determines psycho-pedagogical factors criteria for developing structural components personal It also highlights priority psychologists’ development conditions meeting needs HEIs. Importantly, HEIs should be able develop future specialists’ consciousness, dialogical competence, adequate self-concept. presents author’s along socio-psychological identity. aims provide students so that they can perform duties related psychological counselling, psychodiagnostics, psychoprophylaxis, psychocorrection experiments through self-knowledge, self-understanding, self-acceptance qualities.
